Introduction to French phonetics
The project is to make available on the Internet a programmed series of exercises which will introduce first year students to the IPA and provide them with a self-correcting method of converting either written or oral speech to phonetic symbols and perhaps vice-versa. In the first year the prodect would be made available to 30+ students until a robust system is in place.
